Fresh out of Uni, barefoot and pregnant, filled with a passion and commitment for change; along with a truckload of hope and fear we arrived in Ballarat 21 years ago (Dec 2001). We signed on the dotted line for a clinic and a lifestyle property surrounded by paddocks and welcomed our gorgeous son all in the same month!
Was some of it hard? Absolutely. Was some stuff Challenging? Definitely. But we loved this city, loved the land and I couldn’t be happier in the Clinic surrounded by my herbs and portions and crafting the beautiful herbal formulas. Loved it.
The alternative was suburban living with all the dramas, working as a glorified bean counter, and hubby commuting as a ‘Pitt Street Banker’ watching the planes land and take off from his high-rise city office.
Giving me a country life any day! We absolutely and definitely designed the life we wanted, when we dared to dream it and put it into action with very few regrets. Dare to dream!
