Medicinal cannabis is a rapidly evolving field—and getting it right starts with the right training. I’m incredibly grateful to be part of this amazing cohort, selected through a rigorous vetting process by Federation TAFE.
This course is designed to prepare people for careers in Australia’s medicinal cannabis sector while upholding the industry standards of quality and safety needed to protect patients and build confidence in a highly regulated field.
Our facilitator, the training-site team and my fellow students have been incredibly generous in sharing their wealth of knowledge and hands-on experience. It’s invaluable—like being surrounded by a living cannabis encyclopaedia! This boots-on-the-ground training gives us the opportunity to get up close and personal with this remarkable plant.
As an accredited naturopath with a passion for herbal medicine, I’ve seen how medicinal cannabis can benefit people and give them greater choice in their healthcare. As the industry continues to evolve, standardised training is essential.
Industry-standard education doesn’t just prepare people for the future of medicinal cannabis—it helps build a safer, more trusted future for everyone.
